Homeopathy is a system of treatment that uses minute amounts of plants, minerals, and animal substancees to simulate the defensive systems of the body in a very subtle way. It is widely used in Europe, America, Asia. The theoritical and empirical basis of homeopathy is a concept called the law of similars, often summerzid as "Like cures like". Perhaps more than anything else, what distinguishes the practice of homeopathy from other approaches to medicine is that instead of focusing on the specific causes deseases. It focuses on the spefics of the symptoms of deseases, as they are experienced by the individual patient.

systems like alternate medicine, Ayurbedha etc. Homeopathic medicine should be taken on a clean pallet. While on a course of homeopathic treatement, you should avoid strong flavours such as mint coffee or camphor. They are normally take as pills which are placed under the tongue. For some complaints remedies are taken as an ointment, for example, arnica cream applied directly to bruising. Before taking a Homeopathic medicine always wash out the mouth with clean water.
The water to be used should if possible be distilled water. Where a patient cannot swallow the medicines, drop into his mouth globules or powders. Where even that is not possible, let him/her inhale the medicine selected. In dropping medicine from the phial, a dropper may be used or the lower end of the cork may be utilized for the purpose. The Principle of Homoeopathy is the Single Remedy. Homoeopaths do not look at each individual disease name or symptom in isolation. They look at the entire constitutional expression of the individual through the totality of the symptoms. This singular constitutional state is most similar to the single remedy that is the simillimum of the entire derangement. The single remedy allows the vital force to concentrate its maximum healing power on the essential picture of the illness rather than dispersing vital energy in reaction to several medicinal influences simultaneously.
If we give a combination of remedies including a shy remedy, an aggressive remedy, a cold remedy, a hot remedy, a dry remedy and a moist remedy, the secondary action of the vital force may become fragmented running the danger of confusing secondary reactions, coincidental suppression of the natural symptom pattern. Such reactions are often mistaken for deeper layers, cleansing crises or new diseases by those who have not mastered the fundamentals of homoeopathic methodology. Such difficulties can be avoided by a proper homoeopathic Doctor.
